Evelyn Louise "Wall" Fisher

Evelyn Louise Fisher, age 87, of Huntington, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Envive of Huntington.

Evelyn was born on October 16, 1938, in Huntington, IN, to the late Earl Kenneth and Edna Olive (Fair) Wall. On August 26, 1989, Evelyn married Robert J. "Jim" Fisher, who preceded her in death on November 30, 2012.

Evelyn graduated high school and retired from Eagle Picher in Huntington.

Evelyn is survived by one son, Steven Hadley, Huntington, IN; one stepson, Kenny Fisher, Huntington, IN; two stepdaughters, Tammi (Jeff) Brown, Tammy (Ricky) Millington, both of Huntington, IN; 19 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Wayne Hadley, Sr.; one daughter, Theresa Hadley; and several siblings.

A Gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, from 1pm to 3pm, at McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.

A private burial will be at a later date.
