Dear Friends and Family of Randy...We all have our stories of how we came to know and love Randy. For over 20 years she was my dear friend and she called me frequently. Being so busy lately, I realized I had not heard from Randy for about 3 weeks. I became concerned and tried to call her home last night. I didn't hear her voice message "Well, hello there..." but endless ringing and just felt something was wrong. I googled her name and came upon her obituary. It was a shock to read of her death and filled me with so much sadness. In all the years I have known Randy she never had a harsh or unkind word to say about anyone. She loved Our Lord and He sent her many human angels to take care of her needs. Ollie is the only name I know and she often would say that he was an angel. He would come twice a week and, unselfishly, took care of all the chores she could not do. There were also so many others, over the years, who took her shopping or out to eat (which she looked forward to so much.) Randy was a loyal, kind, loving, faithful and trusting friend and in our many, many conversations we shared so many of our joys and sorrows. And, I know, how she loved her little cats, Scamper and Baby Purl. And, I know, how she dearly loved all her friends and family. This morning while praying for Randy, I came upon a scripture that reminded me of Randy's faith...Tobit 14 "Now, my children, I give you this command: serve God sincerely and do what is pleasing in his sight; you must instruct your children to do what is right and to give alms, to be mindful of God and, at all times, to bless his name sincerely and with all their strength." At a time when she was struggling financially, I sent her money which she was so grateful for but afterward she shared with me that she gave part of the money I sent her to her church. To all her dear family and friends, I send my sincere condolences. I know we all feel so sad because Randy was a very, very special person. I will miss her calls and talking with her. I am struggling with what happened to her (although I knew she had many health issues.) If anyone knows what happened to Randy, please call me at 570-449-7678 or email [email protected] I would greatly appreciate it. I feel a tremendous void in my life by Randy's absence from this earth. Her friendship and love was a tremendous blessing to me. Eternal rest grant unto Randy, O Lord, may she rest in peace. Amen

Hello! I was in NY when Randy died, otherwise I would have been at her funeral service. Randy volunteered many years at the Tileston outreach for many years and she gave, not only physical help to our guests, but a lot of hope. I am sure she had a warm welcome in Heaven! Blessings, Sr. Mary Isaac, Director, Tileston Outreach.

My mother Dorothy Nesbitt was a good friend of Randy's Mom and Randy continued that friendship with my mother after Evelyn's death. We received regular phone calls with Randy checking in. She was so thoughtful and such a presence. I love this picture of Randy and wanted to share it with your family.

We came to know Randy through the social ministry of St. Mary Catholic church. She volunteered there for many years and spent holiday meals with our family during that time. On these occasions she spoke very fondly of her cousins and deceased parents. Randy's Christmas card was always the first one that we would receive each year. We know that she is at peace now but are sorry for your loss.

I had the pleasure of being Randy's neighbor for 12 years. She was a bright light and I am truly sad that she is no longer on this Earth shining. I know she is someplace better. My heart is heavy as I think of her family and friends. Peace be with you all. Rest in peace, Evelyn Randolph Foster.

Randi, as friends called her, was one of the most loyal people I have ever met. She truly did see good in everyone. She faithfully prayed for others. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation for all aspects of her life.
I can't not mention her love for animals also. She was so caring and loved her cats, Baby Pur and Scamper like family....as so many of us do.
Randi was an appreciative person...so grateful for acts of kindness and quick to say Thank you....and...she loved to give of herself. My deepest sympathy to her family and to other friends, who, like I , will miss her terribly. I find comfort in knowing she is now with her Lord and Savior and free from illnesses that she so bravely endured. Randi was a beautiful soul. I am so grateful she was my friend.
