Evelyn Hatfield Obituary
Pace - Evelyn Dianne Hatfield, 70, passed away at her home in Pace on March 15, 2021, after a fifteen year battle with cancer. During her illness, she remained an inspiration to all who knew her. She was born on March 15, 1951 to Evelyn Ward Hatfield and Henry Allen Hatfield.
Dianne started her career in banking at age 19 and continued to work her way up to management and loan originator. She worked in the Pensacola and Tallahassee areas for more than 40 years. Her greatest joy in life was time spent with family, friends and her sweet dog Stella.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Joyce Hatfield Winter; brother-in-law, Tom Winter; brother, Bobby Gene Hatfield; and brother-in-law, Clearance Cassity.
Survivors include: her siblings: June Cassity, Karen Harris, Sharon Howell (Jimmy), Doug Hatfield (Rhonda), Jerry Hatfield (Kitty), and David Hatfield (Tammy); a host of nieces & nephews; special sister in law, Melba Hatfield Burk; and friends, Debbie Horak, Susan McCloud and Yvonne Drake.
Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of cremation arrangements.

I am sorry to hear about Diane. She and all of her family are dear to my heart. Diane was a trooper and was very respected by all who knew her. I will always be proud to call her a friend.

We are very saddened to learn of Dianne’s passing. Dianne was a kind and thoughtful person who always thought of others. Her courage and determination during her 15 year battle with cancer were an inspiration to many and as she would say, “a medical miracle to her doctors.” Dianne was a hard worker and was greatly admired for her success during her banking career. Most of all, Dianne valued her family and was always there when the need arose to help.
