I just learned of Evelyn's passing today and I'm deeply touched as I remember her fun personality and beautiful spirit. We were friends and co-workers at NAVSEA in Arlington, Virginia in the 1990's. May God bring comfort to Anthony, her children and the rest of the family. I will always cherish her memory

This was the most beautifully written and heart warming obituary I have ever read. She lives her life to the fullest. She was not only greatly accomplished (a true hidden figure) but greatly loved.
