Evelyn Berta Pauline Lambrou

Evelyn Berta Pauline (Theis) Lambrou, 93, of Manchester, NH, passed away on February 19, 2025, just shy of her 94th birthday. Born in Berlin, Germany on February 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Johann and Frieda (Funk) Theis.

Evelyn moved to the United States in 1951. She briefly lived in Ohio and Illinois before settling in Manchester in 1955. In her youth, she was a sports enthusiast, earning awards in running and high jumping. She enjoyed gymnastics, especially the rings. She was very interested in American politics and volunteered for the Ronald Reagan campaign. She enjoyed singing, dancing, reading, and sharing stories of her time in Germany during World War II.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Stefanie Lambrou of Concord, and her longtime friend, Mary Lianos. She was predeceased by her son, Michael, in 2011.

Special thanks to Pathways Hospice associates, Ann, Ashlee, Danielle and Jamie, who provided loving care and comfort to Evelyn this past year.

She was laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
