Evelyn A. Pizie

Evelyn Albright Pizie, 91, of Millersville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025.
Bom on November 29,1933, in upstate New York, she was the daughter of the late Laura and Alfred Albright. Evelyn grew up with one sibling and went on to achieve an extraordinary academic honor-a full scholarship to the Vassar School of Nursing.
She graduated as a registered nurse and dedicated her life to compassionate patient care. Evelyn began her career in coronary care and later served with distinction as a nursing supervisor at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.
Evelyn was a woman of many talents and interests. She enjoyed traveling, playing bridge, needlepoint, sewing, swimming, and also found joy in playing the piano. Her curiosity, skill, and quiet determination enriched both her own life and the lives of those around her.
She was an active and faithful member of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church, where she found community, connection, and purpose for many years.
Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Gail Pizie and Dawn Kirkendall; and her grandchildren Eve Vincent, Kathy Vincent, Jessica Tessieri, Stephanie Priore, Sarah Vincent, and Kaley Tessieri. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Pizie; and her granddaughter, Laura Tessieri.
