Evelyn "Fi" Rathy

On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, Evelyn "Lynn" lovingly known as "Fi" Rathy, loving wife and mom of four, passed away at the age of 68. Fi was born October 10, 1957 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Fi will be remembered for her warmth, kindness and the way she made those around her feel welcome and cared for. Her house was known as the "cool" house in the neighborhood with the best snacks.
She had a love for traveling, enjoyed seeing new places and experiencing the world around her, always finding joy in new sights and adventures. Her favorite, was walking barefoot on a warm beach, toes in the sand and waves lapping at her feet. She had a vibrant spirit and loved to celebrate life – whether it was a gathering with friends or a special occasion, Fi brought the energy, laughter and sense of humor wherever she went. Even if you didn't want to dance, you'd end up on the dance floor or besides a bonfire with her.
Late nights, sarcastic banter, road trips, bon fires, flea markets and colorful sentence enhancements were a few of her favorite things. Her lively personality, sense of humor and generous heart will forever leave a lasting impression on all who know her.
Fi was preceded in death by her soul mate Joseph; mother, Martha "Sue" and Lawrence Rufin.
She is survived by her second husband, Kerry "Jaime" Vernon; her four children, Sandi (Jimmy), Stacy, Miranda, Joseph Jr. (Alyssa); her siblings Susie (Terry), Kenny (Sue), Larry; her 7 grandkids; 1 great-grandchild, nieces and nephews; and one spoiled dog Scarlet.
