Evelyn M. Reitenbach

TREMONT- Evelyn M. Reitenbach, age 97, formerly of Elizabethville and Tower City, died September 19, 2025, at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 28, 1927 in Dornsife, PA the daughter of [the late] Roy and Edna (Newman) Yordy.
Evelyn was the widow of Richard J,Reitenbach (1983).
Evelyn was a graduate of the Sunbury High School. She was a retired sewing machine operator and had worked for the former Wiconisco Dress Factory.
Evelyn was a member of the former Wesley U.M. Church, Wiconisco.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle R. Sultzbaugh and sister, Audrey Hampton.
She is survived by a daughter, Cindy L. Mattern (Ernest), Son-in-law, John Sultzbaugh, Grandchildren, United States Air Force, Major Andrew Sultzbaugh (Kelly), and Elisabeth Leatherman (James) and Christopher Mattern (BethAnn); Great grandchildren, Darren Mattern, Zachary Leatherman, William Sultzbaugh, and Abigail Sultzbaugh.
There will be a visitation held at Minnich Funeral, Williamstown on Saturday, October 4, 2025 starting at 12 PM. Services will start at 1 PM officiated by Pastor John Lesher. Burial will follow the service at Calvary U.M. Cemetery, Wiconisco.
