Evelyn Shade Obituary
Miss Shade was born on June 4, 1922, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ernest and Evelyn Miller Shade. She was a retired Secretary/Bookkeeper for Potomac Edison in Hagerstown, Maryland. She was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Winchester, Virginia, and a graduate of Handley High School.
One brother Bruce Shade preceded her in death.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel, with Pastor Allen Gray officiating. Interment will be in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday, from 12:00 – 2:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.
