Evelyn Stiff

STIFF, Evelyn Jane- Age 91, of Linden, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Crestmont Nursing Care Facility.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Linden United Methodist Church, 201 Bridge St., Linden.  Rev. Margo Kivisto and Rev. Donald Neuville co-officiating.  Burial following at Fairview Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden from 7-9 PM Monday and 1-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday.  Those desiring may make contributions to Linden United Methodist Church.  Evelyn was born March 5, 1916 in Linden, the daughter of Glenn and Esther (Soule) Crane.  She married Rolland Stiff June 5, 1939 and he preceded her in death March 3, 1988.  She was a life resident of Linden with 20 years in Atlanta, MI.  She was a member of Linden United Methodist Church.  Surviving are: son, Maurice and wife Kathleen Stiff of Linden; daugther, Denise Braden of Glenburn, ND; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sister, Marceline and husband Donald Lobb of Livonia; brother-in-law, Gerald and wife Doris Stiff of Otisville; sister-in-law, Dorothy Stiff of Grand Blanc; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was also preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Chester and Donald Crane.  "Online condolences and tributes may be posted at the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com".
