Evelyn Todd

Evelyn Todd, 87, of Bladenboro passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Evelyn was born on January 16, 1937 to the late Arthur and Lena Parker Callahan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Todd; children: Connie Atkinson and Glenn Todd; grandchildren: Madison Rabon and Teresa Rabon; siblings: Doris Paschal, Jeanette Autry, Alva Glenn "Rue" Callahan, Charles Callahan, Arthur "Bud" Callahan and Tom Callahan.

Evelyn leaves behind her daughters: Pamela Ward and her husband Terry, Samantha Rabon and her husband Bobby, both of Bladenboro; her grandchildren, Andrea Allen, Todd Haire, Matthew Atkinson, Dillon Atkinson, Nora Taylor, Travis Rogers, Catelenn Todd, Clint Ward, Heather Dove, Christin Ward, Elliott Rabon and Robert Rabon; thirty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and her sisters, Dee Sweeney and Alice Faye.

Evelyn cherished her faith, family, church, and community, finding immense joy in each. She adored hosting holidays, seizing every opportunity to celebrate, and gathering her family in one place to enjoy the festivities. A true master at crafting special moments, her creations will live on in the hearts of those she touched. She radiated light and joy to everyone around her. With a gentle strength, Evelyn navigated life, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met with her unforgettable grace. Her smile was as expansive as her heart. The legacy of love, laughter, and kindness she built will be treasured by all the lives she impacted. She will be profoundly missed by everyone who knew her.

The family will receive friends at 2pm on Sunday, November 10th at Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with a funeral service at 3pm. Burial will follow in the Bladen Memorial Gardens in Elizabethtown.
