Evelyn "Kay" Wallace, of Sunbury Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 3, 2025. She will be remembered as a loving mother, a devoted family member, and a woman whose quiet strength touched everyone around her.
She loved all her children deeply and took pride in watching each of them grow into who they are today. Her home and her heart were always open, and she carried a steady, calming presence that made others feel cared for and understood.
A true gardener at heart, she found joy in nurturing flowers, plants, and the simple beauty of nature. When she wasn’t tending to her garden, she could often be found with a book in hand—an avid reader who appreciated stories, learning, and peaceful moments. She was a hardworking woman who approached every responsibility with dedication and grit. Whether at work, at home, or helping those she loved, she gave her best without expecting anything in return.
She is survived by her children, Tony (Melanie) Schrock of Milton Pennsylvania, Wendal (Kecia) Schrock of Mtn. Grove, Leanna Wallace-Rumfelt of Sunbury Pennsylvania, and John (Bethaney) Schrock of Cabool, grandchildren Mekayla, Carter, Elizabeth, Kylee, Trenton, Maecy, Emma, Katie, Jason and Ronnie, her mother, Marie Wallace, sister Martha Wallace and brother Tom Wallace, all of Sunbury, PA, as well as her faithful cat, Moe, who was always by her side.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her kindness, her steady work ethic, and the love she shared so generously.
