Everett G. Dailey

Everett G. Dailey, 59, of Hurricane passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 at CAMC Teays Valley. Everett was a five year resident of Hurricane, formerly of Nitro. He was retired from AEP with 15 years service, a former mechanic for Henson Brothers Trucking, former owner and operator of Fox Trot Fishing Lake for eight years, and had worked for Dailey Excavating. Everett had received an award for the Best Fishing Lake in the Kanawha Valley and an award from the City of Dunbar for his devotion and work with under privileged children, allowing them to fish at Fox Trot Fishing Lake for free and even providing all the equipment they needed to fish. He was a hunter and fisherman, and loved to play bingo. He is survived by his loving wife Vickey Withrow Dailey, daughter Karie J. Turley of Charleston, son Anthony Brian Dailey and wife Jeannie of Scott Depot, sister Carolyn Rabalais of Charleston, brother Romie D. Dailey of St. Albans, six grandchildren, and Daddy’s Baby Girl, Lulu Belle. A service to celebrate the life of Everett will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at Tyler Mountain Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Carter officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313.
