"Papaw," 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 28, 2025, in Dade City, FL. Born on January 3, 1946, in Montana, Everett lived a life marked by quiet strength, unwavering integrity, and deep devotion to those he loved. A man of few words but great presence, Everett commanded respect simply by entering a room. His strength was matched by his patience and kindness-qualities that left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Everett shared his life with his beloved wife of 51 years, Carolyn. Together they built a family rooted in love and resilience. He was a devoted father to Sharon Schnitzler, Steven Small (Kimberly), Laura Holliday (William), Everett G. Herndon III "Traye" (Luna), Matthew Herndon (Debbie), and Paulasue Kien "Susie" (Mark); devoted grandfather to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His role as "Papaw" was one he cherished deeply-a title that reflected not only his place in the family but also the warmth and wisdom he offered so generously. His family was his greatest joy. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and continue to inspire strength and kindness in generations to come.
