Everett Pickett Obituary
Everett Allen "EV" Pickett of Lake Wales passed away Friday, June 5, 2023 at his residence.
He was born June 3, 1937 in Holton, Indiana to the late William and Emma Pickett; he moved to Lake Wales from Louisville, Kentucky in 2009. EV was a retired terminal manager for Roadway Express and served with the United States Army from 1955 until 1957. His greatest enjoyments were his years spent harness racing for 20 years and fishing at his home in Florida.
EV is survived by his wife, Sandra Gail Pickett; daughter, Yvette M. Daughtry and husband Anthony of Louisville, Kentucky; sons, Edward L. Pickett of Greenville, Texas, Bart A. Pickett of Bardstown, Kentucky, and Bruce A. Pickett and wife Jessy of Wartburg, Tennessee; and four grandchildren.
