Bro. Rucker was a good person me and my family met him at his church in Evanston in 2014. I'm shocked that he passed my friend told me he was sick.

I'm shocked and saddened to hear of brother Rucker passing.

Everett was one of my closest & dearest friends. We have known each other since the age of 9 years old. We attended junior high, high school and college together. Although we did not speak frequently, we never lost touch with one another. He will be truly missed and never forgotten. I would like to offer my condolences to his entire family.

I often visited with Rev. Rucker at Allen Chapel when
I couldn't get to Quinn Chapel Forest Park and always left with an inspirational message to get me through the week! My prayers will continue to go up for his wife and family.

My deepest condolences to the Rucker family. Everett was my insurance agent, mentor, and friend from the time I started driving at 16 to his retirement around the time my daughter started driving 20+ years later. His love for the Lord was beautiful and he wasn't ashamed to profess it and I appreciated that about him. Thanks Everett for being you!

You will never be forgotten. Condolences to the family

On July 31st, we lost a good friend and colleague. Everett was a giving individual; who always made you smile. His many talents were immeasurable. He put God first in his life. I feel blessed to have known him. Best wishes to the Rucker family and may he continue to make a joyful noise in heaven.

I will remember Everett as a good-hearted person, as a good man, and as a friend. During his years with State Farm, he and I shared many learning and planning sessions together. He was a motivator and an inspiration to his fellow agents. We admired his courage to retire from his insurance career, to follow his ministry mission. We mourn his passing, but know that he is in a better place for eternity.

I am deeply saddened to know of the passing of my wonderful cousin Everett. I loved his calm positive spirit. Ill never forget seeing him play his saxophone in front of a full gym of happy people at the University of Tennessee when I was a student there. He was always there. Much love to his wife, daughters and family.

I will always remember Everett's fun loving spirit, consideration for others, and positive attitude toward life. He was a great State Farm Agent, and he will be missed.

I can still see Everett playing the sax at a talent show :)

I'm so sorry to hear about Everett's passing. We go back to middle school in Nashville TN. I will truly miss him and the talks we use to have. May God bless his family at this time.
