Mr hicks served as my principal for a short time at Hines middle school and although our interactions was brief he always led with a smile and I knew our conversations were genuine. My condolences to his family as he truly was a terrific person and someone I looked forward to speaking with each day.

Mr. Hicks was my neighbor and teacher at George Washington Carver High and when he was on the board of Virginia Educators Credit Union, where I ran a Mortgage Company inside and the racist President disliked me because she had no control over me and I resigned because she thought she was my Boss, Teddy Hicks made sure she loss her job. He also were my neighbor and he kept us in order. He will be miss. Love you Mr. Hicks.
