EVON MARTIN (nee May), age 66 of Brunswick. Beloved wife of the late Tat Martin; Cherished mother of Jason Martin and stepmother of Shannon Martin; Cherished daughter of Ancil and Rose May; Dearest sister of Denise McDonald, Rickey Babcock, and sister of the late Danny and Deborah May. Dearest aunt and friend of many. Evon was a hardworking, single mother who would help anyone she could. For years, she vacationed to New Jersey's Shoreline with her children to visit family. She loved making crafts and working in her gardens. Her knowledge of plants and flowers was bountiful. She enjoyed sipping her coffee while watching the animals outside of her favorite spot in the All Seasons room by day followed by turtle ice cream in the evenings. All the animals she would watch every day were given a name and a full story to tell her son each day after he would return home from work. Her humor was enlightening, always laughing and joking with others. A personality that truly warmed everyone's heart. Evon passed away on Friday, June 7, 2019. Private family services were held. Celebration of Life to be held on June 22, 2019, from 2-6pm at family's home in Brunswick. All friends and family are welcome. For additional information, please contact the family directly. Cremation by Busch Crematory. 440-842-7800 www.buschcares.com

I miss you so much, sister. Though we weren't together for most of our lives, when we finally met, I connected with you immediately. We always had so much to talk and laugh about, we'd talk for hours. I will miss you for the rest of my life. Rest easy, sweetie. I love you.
