One of my cousins, was Claus von Stauffenberg who was a von Schliefen (sic?) and was in on the plot to kill Hitler. Chances are the von Kleists and I are related,but I do not know. I am sorry for your loss. Sorry they did not succeed, but he did his best and may he rest in peace knowing he tried.

Guten Nacht and rest well, brave man. That must have been like living a waking nightmare. Must have been crushing to lose a father and war buddies in such a manner. Surviving such evil and living a long life is the best revenge. God obviously meant for him to survive to tell the tale, with such divine interventions. My condolences to his Frau.

Courage is something that everyone does not posses. Mr. Ewald-Heinrich Von Kleist and some of his friends showed that courage when they tried to destroy the monster hilter. May he rest in peace and may our Heavenly Farther remember and watch over him.
