Ross was a dear long time friend
We met back in 1960 working on computers together. Then we began hunting together for many years. I enjoyed his company very much. May the Lord be near to each of the family at this time. Dave Olsen

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Metzger family at this time. I had the pleasure of getting to know Ross in the 1980's & 1990's after being invited to the deer hunting camp in Pine County he owned with his Univac/hunting buddies. All of the younger guys who were fortunate enough to spend time there learned a great deal about hunting as well as life from Ross and the other members of The Greatest Generation. The world is a better place because of them & we will miss them.

Ross was a faithful disciple of Jesus who believed firmly in God and travelled through life with integrity and honor. May he follow the Risen Lord Jesus to eternal life.
