Fae Carrington Obituary
She was born on January 7, 1952 in Waverly, NY, the daughter of Tracy and Lois Twigg Silkman Jr.
Fae was a graduate of Sayre High School and retired from Ingersoll Rand after many years of service. She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed bird watching, flower gardening and spending time at Benchley Lake Campground. Fae loved to go shopping, getting her hair and nails done and going on lunch dates with family and friends.
She is predeceased by her mother, Lois Twigg Silkman and her husband, Scott Carrington.
Fae is survived by her life partner, Fred Wolcott; father, Tracy Silkman, Jr.; siblings, Wesley (wife, Diane) Silkman, Terry (husband, Jim) Park and Reid (wife, Shelli) Silkman; several nieces and nephews, her beloved dog, Dolly and cats, Mia, Missy, Molly and Dooley.
Friends and family may call on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 2 to 3 pm at the Litchfield Methodist Church, 2759 Litchfield Road, Sayre, PA 18840, where a funeral service will be held at 3 pm.
Those wishing may make contributions in Fae's memory to Stray Haven Animal Shelter, 194 Shepard Road, Waverly, NY 14892 or Litchfield Methodist Church, 2759 Litchfield Road, Sayre, PA 18840.
Family is being assisted by Lowery-Urban Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Athens, PA.
