Faith Renae Bult

Faith Renae Bult, age 51, was taken in accordance with God’s perfect plan on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, after a short battle with pancreatitis.  Faith was born on June 10, 1972 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to her loving parents, Meindert and Beverly Joostens (De Young).  Faith was the first of 5 children.  Faith’s life started in the Grand Rapids, Michigan area where her father was attending Seminary.  In 1973 her parents took the call to Faith PRC in Jenison, Michigan, where her father began his ministry.

Faith had a vibrant, energetic, big personality with a love of people and a determined work ethic.  Faith was married to Dan Bult on August 7, 1992. Faith continued to excel in school at IUPUI (Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis) and graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2002.   Dan and Faith took up residence in Bellingham, WA on Samish Lake to be near where Faith’s parents and siblings had moved.  Faith started her own dental practice and exceled as a dentist for over 21 years.   Her vibrant personality and love of helping people shined brightly during that time.  Faith loved spending time on the lake with her family and friends and she often spoiled her nephews and nieces.  She had a deep love of animals, especially dogs.  She spent much time in and around the dog show arena.

 Faith will be greatly missed by her parents, Meindert and Beverly Joostens, siblings Tim (Heidi) Joostens, Steve (Stephanie) Joostens, Joy (Joel) Hoksbergen, and Paul (Becca) Joostens, along with nephews, nieces, a great-nephew, many friends and former patients. 

A private graveside will be held at Enterprise Cemetery.
