Faith Ann (Walsh) Marasco, age 88, of Grand Haven, Michigan and Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully Saturday, November 22, 2025 in Carol Stream, Illinois. She was born December 28, 1936 in Chicago, IL, to Thaddeus Arthur and Sara Kathleen Walsh.
Born and raised in Chicago, Faith attended Trinity High School and Loyola University. She met the love of her life, the late Angelo Frank Marasco in Chicago while they both worked at United Airlines. They married in 1957 and celebrated 63 years together. Faith and Angelo had a very full and joyful life, focusing on their family and Catholic Faith.
A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Faith, spent her life raising and nurturing her 8 children. She is survived by 7 of her 8 children; Angelo (Laura), Faith (Dan) Bergin, Deb (Brad) McMahon, Tim (Ann), Susan (Greg) Regalado, Matt (Holly), and Mary Jo (Mike) Williams. Faith is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Mark Allen.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 22 at their former long term parish St. Theresa Catholic Church, 455 N Benton Street, Palatine, IL. A committal service will follow at the Chapel of the Saints, Mount Carmel Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, IL 60162. Afterwards a lunch to celebrate Faith's life will be held at Francesca's Amici restaurant in Elmhurst.
