Fannie Anna Grimaldi

Fannie A (Calcasola) Grimaldi, 97 of Enfield entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to the late Nicholas Grimaldi. Fannie was born on July 18, 1927 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Gasper and Mary (Barone) Calcasola. She was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Fannie retired from the former Hallmark Cards Enfield Distribution Center after 10 years of service. In her spare-time she enjoyed crocheting, spending time with family and was an avid UCONN Women's Basketball fan.
Fannie is survived by Joanne & Lou Pirog of Orlando, FL, and daughter-in-law Linda Grimaldi of Enfield, her two beloved grandsons Nicholas (Kristi) Grimaldi and Joseph (Elizabeth) Grimaldi, her cherished great grandchildren Isabella Grimaldi, Anthony Grimaldi and Dominic Grimaldi. She is also survived by a sister Mary Boire of Westfield, MA and brother Joseph (Linda) Calcasola of Bloomfield, CT, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband was predeceased by her son Arnold "Arnie" Grimaldi, granddaughter Jill Lewis, brother Carlo Calcasola and brother-in-law Raymond Boire.
Funeral services for Fannie will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025 with calling hours from 9:00 to 10:30 am followed by a procession to St. Patrick Church, Enfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will be in St. Patrick's King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
