Faron Wade Marshall

Faron Wade Marshall cast his final line into the great beyond on February 4, 2026, at the age of 65, in his life long hometown of Leipsic, DE. Born July 13, 1960 in Dover, DE. Faron's laughter and ability to lighten any burden will never be forgotten. Faron leaves a wake of cherished memories and fish tales that could rival the length of the river he so loved.

Faron, a man of wit and laughter, was born to the late Frank Webb Sr. and the tender Frances Marie Marshall, whom had given him his name as a tribute to the late country western legend Faron Young. He is now reunited with his closest friends, Jeff "Hoggy" Conner and Richard Foster as well as his favorite four legged friend, Otis.

Faron leaves behind a legacy through his dear brother/protector and sister-in-law, Frank Webb Jr. and Yvonne Marshall; his beloved children, Faron, Brandon, and Christine Marshall; and his cherished grandchildren, Emerson and Walker LaBerge. His nephew Daniel, along with his companion Desiree, and his great-niece Destiny and great-nephew Elijah, shall carry forth his name, a beacon of his love and joy.

A man of simple pleasures, Faron found solace in the gentle whisper of the Leipsic river, where he would be found with a rod or crab line in hand. His voice, a robust instrument, gave life to song in many a karaoke night, and his skill at the pool table was unmatched.

Faron had a distinct palette and quite enjoyed his Bud Light Limes.

In his younger years, known to many as "Face", Faron enjoyed playing softball where he was known by all and valued by his teammates for his skill as a third baseman. Yet, it was in the company of his grandchildren that Faron found his greatest delight, their laughter and smiles his most cherished sight.

As we say goodbye, let's honor Faron by living as he did - embracing each day with humor and a zest for life that is nothing short of inspiring.

Faron's life was an open book, each chapter more entertaining than the last. He was the kind of comedian who didn't need a microphone or a stage; his audience was anyone lucky enough to cross his path.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 11 AM to 12 PM in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 12 PM. Burial will be privately held.

NOTE: The services will be in conjuction with Faron's late mother, Frances Marshall, who just passed away on January 28, 2026.
