I can't believe your not around anymore. We have known each other since the 3rd grade. You were always very nice to me. I have alot of good memories, when you came to visit with a friend when I moved to long Island. We were about 20 years old. Then you came for dinner about 10 years when I moved to Melbourne Fl. You are a great guy Farrel!! You will be missed, Rest in Peace my friend

Dear Friend - Where did three decades go?
I´ve gone back and remembered all the wonderful parties we had at my home. And, yes, the arguments and disagreements. So often you were on the phone for counsel, or comfort. You didn´t always agree with my advice in the short term. Now, silence. There is no more advice to give.
Too soon we are separated. It seems only yesterday I helped you plan the memorial for your brother. Now you? There is no justice in life, or death. Now for the third time I have to say goodbye to a member of your family.
Your spirituality was so deep, so broad, so all-encompassing. So challenging.
As I head to the airport to attend your memorial, I am suffused with both sadness and joy. Sadness at your loss, joy that you go to that better place you so often contemplated. I´m left down here alone to fight the good fight.
You will not be forgotten.

In grateful remembrance of all the many good times over so many years: BBQs, suppers, lively debates, friendship.
