Father John Auer

Father John was a neighbor at Heather Gardens, Aurora, Co. The last few years of his life.
I remember inviting John to the building Christmas party last year. We had a lot in common both being fraternal order Knights of Columbus.
My wife and I ran into him at the grocery store last month and Father John told us he was taking a Hawaiian cruise in November. He said he wanted to take the trip before it was to late. That was the last time I saw him.
Father John had a peacefulness about him you don't see often in this world. He was a listener and took interest in what you had to say. The kind of person that you want to be around.I will miss Fath John, a man I am glade I had as a friend .

Some great memories of cousin and Fr. John Auer.

Fr. John Auer was my first cousin and a wonderful friend. We were in regular contact and he visited us in Las Vegas in December 2023 to sample the wonderful food here. He was a blessing to our family and will be dearly missed.
