Fatima Blewitt, 72, of Bayville passed away on January 15, 2024. Born in Sao Luis, Brazil, immigrated to the United States at the age of 10 living in Edison & Union before settling in Bayville. Fatima was a hair stylist at Betty's Beauty Shop in Bloomfield, NJ for many years. She enjoyed dining out, vacations, traveling and most of all, the time spent with her family. Fatima was a breast cancer survivor.
Predeceased by her mother Betty Moreira and son Patrick Blewitt.
Surviving is her husband of 36 years, Robert Blewitt and 5 children, Michele Blewitt, Marcia Germinario, Chris Blewitt, Sarah Blewitt and Michelle Owens, numerous grandchildren, siblings, Joseph Moreira, and Mary Jane Harrison.
There will be a viewing on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Meeting at the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30am with a funeral mass at 11am at St. Barnabas Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville, with a burial immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
