Fay Wilson

Mrs. Fay Wilson passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:05 AM after a brief illness. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM on Monday, February 9th at Osborn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 9th at Osborn's. Officiating will be Gary Landers assisted by Eric Zimmer of Haynes Avenue Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Forest Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson was a native of Texas and a resident of Shreveport, LA for 67 years. Fay lived a wonderfully full life in her 100 years. She was an energetic and tireless participant in every aspect of her life and was a longtime member of Haynes Avenue Baptist Church.

Fay had an entrepreneurial spirit, owning and operating many successful businesses during her lifetime. She was an avid golfer, winning many tournaments and making countless friends along the way. Fay was known for her hospitality, opening her home to all. She never met a stranger. She was a strong lady who loved everyone. Her family was the most important part of her life along with her furry friends who held a big piece of her heart.

Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Pete Wilson and by her daughter Cynthia Wilson. She is survived by her son Mike Wilson and his wife Mary, and her grandson Michael Wilson all of Shreveport.

Pallbearers will be Tony Fontenot, Michael Wilson, Connor Ritchie, Gordon Ritchie, Mickey Finley and Paul Sullivan.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Haynes Avenue Baptist Church at 610 Haynes Ave., Shreveport, LA 71105.
