Faye Bolden

Faye Ann (Hardrick) Bolden, 72-year-old well known Vinita resident, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 28, 2025, at the St. Francis Hospital Tulsa. She was born on February 25, 1953, in Vinita (in a car), to Dr. Leslie Barfield and Virginia Mae (Hardrick). Faye was 1972, graduate of Vinita High School and continued her education at Northeastern A and M College in Miami. Faye worked for Kent Ryals Law Firm, Home of Hope, and she also worked several years for McDonalds as the manager. Faye was also a licensed minister with World Ministry Fellowship and was a very active member of the Serenity Baptist Church. She also loved reading the bible and working crossword puzzles, and watching basketball and football. Most of all she really loved her family and being together with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Bolden in 2017, and a brother, Norman "Tubby" Hardrick.
The surviving family includes her daughter, Antoinette "Toni" Hardrick (Will), her son, Brian Hardrick (Tommie) of Bentonville, Arkansas, siblings, Roger Tyler (Dolly) of Vinita, Jerry Tyler (Deana) of Vinita, Frank "Junebug" Tyler, Jr. (Judy) of Strang, Willie Tyler of Sayre, Marvin Tyler of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren, Monte` Hardrick, Brie-Ann Hardrick, Kaitlynn Edmonds, LaTe`a Mason, Braylon Hardrick, Brennan Hardrick and one great-grandchild, Ezra Edmonds, and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vinita, with Reverend Robert Ramsey officiating.
