Mrs. Faye Burrows Bray, age 89, of Burlington, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Alamance Regional Medical Center after several months of failing health.
Born in Randolph County, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas Burrows and the late Ollie Caviness Burrows and was married for 60 years to Mr. Cleo Paul Bray, who passed in 2014. She retired as a manager from Burlington Coat Factory after 21 years of service and was a member of Burlington Christian Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her canine companion, “Jack”.
Mrs. Bray is survived by her two children, Linda Bray Smith (Darren) and Tommy Bray; and four grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Logan Smith, Kelli Bray and Stephanie Bray. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, January 17, 2025 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. Steve Dailey. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Christian Church Cemetery in Bennett, NC. The family will receive friends from 11:00 – 11:45 AM Friday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the daughter’s residence.
