Faye R. Drost, 77, died on January 30, 2026 in Caribou. She was born in Ellsworth on November 16, 1948, the daughter of the late Harley and Mildred (Hudson) Knowlton. She married Donald Drost Sr. on June 22, 1966. Faye was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Peggy Beaulieu of Caribou, Donald Drost Jr. and wife Pamela of Clio, MI; her grandchildren, Tyler Beaulieu and wife Ellie of Lisbon, Trevor Beaulieu of Caribou, Timothy Drost of Clio, MI, and Heather McMillan and husband Blake of Harrison, MI; great-grandchildren, Joey, Maddie, and Lily; and one brother, Richard Knowlton and wife Helen of Hancock, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Drost was predeceased by her husband Donald, a daughter, Tiffany, a son-in-law, Joseph Beaulieu, brothers, Harley and David, and sisters, Sandra, Bernice, Jean, Beatrice, Debbi, and Donna. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Maine Veterans Home in Caribou for the fine care given to Faye. Friends who wish to contribute in her memory may do so through the Maine Veterans Home - Caribou, Memorial Fund, 163 Van Buren Road, Suite 2, Caribou, Maine 04736. Interment will take place at a later date in the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou.
