Faye Irene Murdock

Faye Irene Murdock, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on February 25, 2026, in New Boston, Michigan, at the age of 94. Born on October 12, 1931, in Bear Valley Patch "Shamokin", Pennsylvania, Faye lived a life rich in love, family, and cherished traditions.

Faye dedicated her life to her family, always finding joy in being a devoted mother and grandmother. Her children, Geraldine (Corbett) Crider, Teri (Ken) Fifth, Robert (Kim) Murdock, Tammy (Mike) Bass, and Ann (Dan) Sprys, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, continue to carry forward her legacy of warmth and humor. Her sister, Dorothy Haupt, also survives her, reminding us of the enduring bond between siblings.

Throughout her life, Faye found happiness in her simple yet meaningful hobbies. She adored sewing, especially crafting clothes for her children when they were young, and was an avid crafter whose creativity brought joy to those around her. In her earlier years, she enjoyed the grace of ice skating, a testament to her youthful spirit.

Faye is preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Robert Murdock; her parents, Edwin and Phoebe Diliplane; and her sisters, Rita and Judy. Her absence leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her enduring love and laughter will be remembered by those she leaves behind.
