Faye Stinson Norman, 88, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Faye was born on February 16, 1936, in Surry County to the late Gilbert Stinson and Mabel Pearl Wishon Stinson.
Faye was a devoted wife, mother and loving grandmother. As a grandmother she was always there for her grandchildren, teaching them and loving them. Faye was a faithful member of Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville until her health prevented her from attending.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Norman, infant son, Randy Norman, daughter, Janie Norman and son, W.G. Norman.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Donna Lynn Stout, grandchildren; Nikki Money (Brian), Krystle Brown (Joey Hobson), Kayla Liberty Stout (Jason Roy), Brandon Savage (Tawuana Lee), Chris Savage, Mason Norman, great grandchildren; Sophia, Lydia, Giana, Brayden, Kayde, Jaxon, Desire, Brianna and Valerie.
The family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 2:30 to 3:00 pm at Northwood Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm with Rev. Tim Webb and Rev. Dr. Allen Barker officiating. Burial will be held in the church cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Share a Home in Boonville, Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Mountain Valley Hospice, and Ms. Pam Casstevens who spent most of Faye's final days keeping her company, caring for her, and providing her much comfort.
