In Loving Memory

Lillian Faye Sisco Stallings

July 9, 1941 – January 27, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian Faye Sisco Stallings, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, who left us on January 27, 2025. Born on July 9, 1941, to Booker Sisco and Mary Lou Parks, Faye lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication. She fell deeply in love at an early age with Donald Joe Stallings, married on August 29, 1957, and loved him with an unfailing, unconditional love until his death in 2009.

Faye was known for her unwavering commitment to her family. She valued family and friendships. She touched the lives of many and will always be remembered for her “Deliver a smile program” during her work as owner and designer at Whiteville Florist in Whiteville, TN. She made a point to deliver small tokens of affection to Whiteville shut ins and the elderly who were sick. She was kind to everyone she met; showing the love of Jesus as she went along her day. She also volunteered at Whiteville Elementary School and attended many events in the community. Faye loved to cook her famous coconut cakes and chocolate pies with meringue. She had a creative talent for sewing and painting. She loved to create and use the talents given from God. Faye loved birds, collies, traveling and fall colors.

Faye was a member of First Baptist Church Whiteville. Recently, she attended online and in person when able at Oakfield Baptist Church in Oakfield, TN. She was dedicated to loving Jesus with her whole heart, mind and soul. She had no doubts about her salvation and was in constant prayer during her lifetime in the valleys and on the mountain tops she praised Jesus! In her lifetime, she prepared many costumes, decorations and directions at many Christmases plays at different churches. She was always a worker behind the scenes giving all praise and glory to God.

Faye is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Tom DuBose of Medina, TN, grandchildren and spouses: Lance and Sarah Beth Doyle of Whiteville, Jim and Samantha Stallings of Budapest Hungary, and Brandi and Mark Cupples of Medon, great grandchildren: Jacob, Clayton, Lily, Felix and Eleanor, sisters and brothers-in-laws: Annette and Rob Carroll of Walland, TN, Ruth and Glenn Tackett of Franklin, Judy and Danny Henley of Nashville, and Denise Sealand of Murfreesboro, and brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Mary Sue Sisco of Nashville, brother-in-law and wife, Martin and Martha Stallings of Toone, sister-in-law, Louise Stallings of Bolivar, step-sisters, Darlene Redd of Jackson and Becky Williams of Florida, step-sister-in-laws, Kay Williams of Carthage, NC and Jackie Utley of Jackson, and many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Faye was pre-deceased by her husband, Don Stallings on May 13, 2009, son, Joey Stallings on February 16, 2007, sister, Betty Taylor, brothers-in-law, James Goodrum, Vernon Taylor, and Frank Sealand, step-brothers, Lanny and Lynn Williams, parents, Booker Sisco and Mary Lou Parks Sisco Williams as well as her in-laws, Martin and Pearl Stallings.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 10 am-1 pm with service beginning at 1 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Bolivar, TN. All who knew and loved Faye are welcome to attend and celebrate the beautiful life she lived. Interment will be at Middleburg Cemetery in Middleburg, TN following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mental Health America of the Mid-South, The American Diabetes Association, The American Heart Association or Oakfield Baptist Church Mission Fund.

May Faye's soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories we share.
