Fayetta’s life began on October 19, 1938, in Wichita, Kansas. She was the daughter of Lacy Lafayette J. Barton and Agnes Lee Hill. Fayetta faced a lot of challenges throughout her life but always remained humble.
Fayetta loved to dance and sing along to Christian music and had faith in her Christian beliefs. Some other hobbies that Fayetta loved to do was shopping, taking a strong interest in animals and babies. She loved putting her make-up on and dressing up. She enjoyed her Diet Dr. Pepper and rock n roll music.
Fayetta will be dearly missed by her guardians Carrie Toupin, of Marion, Kansas and Echo Smith of Marion, Kansas, and the staff at Chase County Rehab. Fayetta is preceded in death by her parents. We will have a Graveside Service for Fayetta Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 3:30 at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Florece, Kansas. Memorials can be directed in Fayetta’s name to the Animal Health Care Clinic in Marion, Kansas. Please take time and sign the online guest book and leave a memory of Fayetta.
