Sincere condolences wishes, and blessings to the Geeter's family and friends.
The passing of Sister Felicia was a heartfelt surprise. She was a loving and kind lady, who loved her family ~{greatly, her nieces & nephews}. Treasured her dear friends. Glad to hear that her friends were close at hand, in the midst of her crisis. *Proverbs 17:17 states, "A friend loves at all times, ..." ~ Amen.
I met Sister Felicia in the mid-1980's when she visited her Mom ~ {Mrs. Elma Geeter} in New Jersey. Lastly, I saw Felicia at her Mother's home going services in N.J. ~ September 30, 2023. We communicated via text several times, {since that memorial date} and via 'snail-mail'. Smile.
Prayers for her loved ones, that will miss her in Chicago, IL, in NJ & in PA. Hope God's grace will give them each, "Peace that will surpass all understanding, ... keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" ~ {Philippians 4:7}, Amen.
To brothers' Joseph & David, Sr. ~the loss of a sibling is not easy. Hopefully the sweet memories of Felicia's love will warm your hearts. (I experienced loss in '2004' and '2022' ~my two special Sisters). Time does heal the separation and the empty feelings. God bless you both as you will lean on each other & family.
