Feliciano "Manny" Manuel Silveira December 10, 1963 – April 27, 2025
Feliciano "Manny" Manuel Silveira, of Escalon, California, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on April 27, 2025, at the age of 61. Born on December 10, 1963, in Prainha, Pico, Azores, Portugal, Feliciano was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many.
He is survived by his loving children: Cristiana Amelia Silveira, Feliciano Manuel Silveira Jr., and Andrea Maria Silveira. He was the cherished son of Manuel and Maria Silveira, and a devoted brother to Terry Silveira (Michele).
Feliciano dedicated 32 years of honorable service to the California Department of Corrections, working at both the Sierra Conservation Center and the Dual Vocational Institution. He retired as a Lieutenant and was also a proud former member of the Specialized Emergency Response Teams (SERT) at both facilities.
Outside of his professional life, Feliciano enjoyed playing and watching sports, hunting, fishing, and, most of all, spending time with his family. His warm heart, strong values, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Deegan Funeral Chapel, 1441 San Joaquin Street, Escalon. Friday, May 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. will be the Rosary and Mass at St. Patrick's Church, 19399 CA 120, Ripon. Burial at St. John's Cemetery.
Feliciano's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
