Felipe Romero

Felipe Romero, 57, of Pampa, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Pampa.

Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel with Pastor Mike Borger, pastor at Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Felipe was born June 12, 1965 in Anahuac, Chihuahua, Mexico. He moved to Pampa when he was 14 years old.  Felipe worked over 33 years in the oilfield, he worked hard to be able to provide for his family. Felipe married Regina Davis on July 20, 1985 in Pampa. The Texas Rangers was his favorite baseball team to watch. He always enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he spent time at the lake. Felipe had a giving heart and loved to help people in need. Family was important to him and would do anything needed to make sure they were all taken care of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Maria Romero; two brothers, Alfredo Romero and Dolores Jose Romero.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Regina; daughter, Jessica Russell; three sons, Justin Romero, Josh Romero and companion Elizabeth Shumaker, and Jeremy Romero and wife Christy; he was Papi to his ten grandchildren; Kristen Romero, Shyla’lynn Gross, Bladin Romero, Jessa Romero, Sage Apodaca, Haven Apodaca, Reagan Apodaca, Conlinco Romero, Bakugo Romero, and Hiro Romero; three sisters, Socorro Romero, Alicia Romero, and Herlinda Romero; and two brothers, Manuel Romero and Ramon Romero.
