Our sincere condolences to Felix's loved ones. We worked with Felix at GM and he was our UAW 645 brother.

In 1985, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UAW, Felix painted a mural on a wall behind the union hall. We were worried that it would end up with graffiti on it. He was confident that the iconography he planned would be respected and he was right. His artistic vision included a firm grasp of real life.

Last year on a GM Van Nuys facebook page pictures of the mural were posted. A lot of folks responded to it. While relocation and the passing of many years resulted in losing contact with each other, fond memories still unite us. Felix's art will live on and his easy smile and his many kindnesses live on in our hearts.

Rest in Peace brother.

God only picks the prettiest flowers for his garden. He is now free of pain, to paint what his heart desires. You will be forever loved and missed.
