Felix Rodriguez 89,
Felix Rodriguez, 89, of El Paso, TX, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born February 9, 1936, Felix was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School, Class of 1954, and a U.S. Navy veteran.He served his community as a firefighter and later worked many years at Sierra Medical Center. Felix married the love of his life, Esperanza, and together they shared 58 years of marriage and raised four children.Felix will be remembered for his wit, generous heart, and devotion to family. He helped raise two of his grandchildren and two of his great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in his heart. After the passing of his wife, he devoted his later years to caring for their daughter, Deborah, who had Down syndrome, until her passing in 2024.He is survived by his children Teresa (Leonard) Ramos, Yvonne Juarez, and Felix Rodriguez Jr., along with 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends. The family thanks Abraham Gonzalez, M.D., and Hospice El Paso for their compassionate care.
Visitation: Wed., Aug. 6, 2025, 5–8 PM, Rosary at 6 PM, Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.Funeral Mass: Thu., Aug. 7, 2025, 9 AM, Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Interment at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
