Bakersfield – Felix Sanchez, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025, with his family by his side.
Born on August 6, 1942, in Mabton, Washington, to Guadalupe and Francisca Sanchez. His family later moved to Bakersfield, California, where he spent his formative years and eventually met the love of his life.
Felix attended East High School and then proudly enlisted in the United States Navy shortly after.
Felix was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife Rebecca; brothers, Angel, Joe, Roy and Lucio.
He is survived by his sons, Mark (wife Joann), and Steven: grandchildren, Jessica, Arthur, and Bo, and great-granddaughter Sofia. He is also survived by his brothers, Robert and Pete; sisters, Mary, Eva, Estella, Lupe, Alice and Gracie.
Felix will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering love for his family, and the pride he took in his work and service to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Many fond memories of Felix when we worked together at Stine. Felix´s smile and upbeat attitude made our workdays better. He was always helpful and kind. Before Stine I got to know Felix through Becky from my years working at Mercy. They were such a fun, loving couple. May they both rest in peace.
