Felix R. York

YORK - Felix R. York, 72, of Los Lunas, NM died Monday, February 1, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Jackie M. York. He is also survived by his daughters, Cindy Osborn and husband, David of Wichita Falls, TX; Barbara Hallmark of Fort Smith, AR; Jennifer Pitts and husband, Michael of Fort Smith, AR; Melinda Kyle and husband, Scott of Wichita Falls, TX; his son, Russell York and wife, Cindy who reside in Korea; and eight grandchildren. Also he is survived by his step-sons, Dennis Feerer and wife, Carla of Los Lunas, NM; Steven Feerer of Homer, AK; and step-daughters, Lori Medik of Albuquerque, NM; Sandra Day and husband, Shawn of Albuquerque, NM; Johanna Chappelle and husband, Carnell of Albuquerque, NM; and Sherry Tackett and husband, Paul of Albuquerque, NM; seven step-grandchildren and two great step -grandchildren. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, a member of the Moose Lodge and a member of American Legion Post #49. Services will be held on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 p.m., at the American Legion Post #49, 11007 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM.
