Dear Family,
On behalf of the City Treasurer's Office, I want to extend to you our deepest sympathy on the loss of Felton. Felton has been a part of the City's family for many years and we have had the pleasure of working with him for many of those years. He was always a pleasure to work with and be around. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. He was always willing to assist and help you with whatever needed to be done. Felton was a kind and caring person, and he will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I've had the pleasure of knowing Felton for the past 17 years, which was when I began working for the City. He was one of the first people I met and I remember being introduced to his constant, genuine smile and caring spirit. Through the years, not once did I see him without his signature smile, and could always count on him to have a positive, uplifting attitude. Felton has left a wonderful legacy, how to be a kind person. We'll truly miss him. May he Rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

My condolences to the Mann Family. Felton was always so helpful and nice to the Nansemond River Pilot Club when we have events at the Suffolk National Guard Armory. RIP, Felton.

Although I only had the honor of meeting Felton a few times during his visits to the Finance department, his awesome spirit will always be remembered. I remember thinking,"If I could only be as loving and kind as he is". Well, I'm not quite there but boy what a lesson in life he has taught to many!

My condolences to the Mann family. I worked with Felton while employed with the City on a few occasions and know he was truly a wonderful person who was willing and able to do anything asked of him. I know he will be missed by family and coworkers. May the peace only God can provide be with you during this time.

Uncle Felton I will truly miss you. I will miss the heartfelt conversations, the laughing, crying and most of all your voice. You were a man of your word. I love you so much. Like you always told me God makes no mistakes. So i know when he called you it was definitely time.

I had the privilege of running into Felton at least 2 or 3 times a year over the past 20 years while working with the City of Suffolk. Felton always had a smile on his face and was a joy to speak with. I always felt better after speaking with Felton. HIs talent to improve the environment of any space he was tasked with making better was incredible. Someone once referred to a Felton improved space as being Feltonized I very much like that term and will miss seeing Felton the next time I come to the Planters club. RIP Felton!

So very sorry to hear of Feltons passing. He truely was a dear and special person, a dear friend to me. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
