Fern Lanell Keith

Fern Keith passed away February 13, 2026, at the age of 90 in her home of 13 years, East Wenatchee, Washington. Mom was a talented seamstress and self-taught artist. She had a finely tuned color sense and continued to paint well into her later years.

Fern graduated at 16 from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, Oregon and received her BS in Home Economics in 1956 from Oregon State College. She sewed her own gown and made the cake for her wedding to Art Keith in 1955. The family moved several times in the Pacific Northwest, residing in Ellensburg, Tri-Cities and Spokane Washington, finally settling in Fairmont Hot Springs, BC in view of the Canadian Rockies.

Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Art Keith in 2010. She is survived by a brother, Neil Miller (Shirlee) of Vanderhoof BC, and her three children Dee Ann Gregg (Phil), Marla Lucas (Dave), and Craig Keith (Lesa). She leaves behind five grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Bonaventure of East Wenatchee for the loving care of Mom over the past several years and Confluence Health Hospice for their assistance in her final weeks.

Internment in Fairmont Hot Springs to be held this summer.
