Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home - Rahway on Mar. 9, 2026.
Fernando Urrutia Martinez "el Tata" entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

Fernando was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, and carried his Uruguayan roots proudly throughout his life. He was a loving father and a friend to many. He worked as a dedicated mechanic and took pride in helping others through his skills and generosity.

Fernando will be remembered for his warm spirit and welcoming nature. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone he met. He deeply loved spending time with family and friends, especially enjoying barbecues, drinking Mate, listening to Murgas, and sharing laughter with those around him. His faith in God was an important part of his life and guided him in many ways.

He is survived by his loving children, Daniela, Florencia, and Alejandro; his cherished grandchildren, Angel and Leah; his brothers, Enrique and Manolo; and his nieces and nephews, Esteban, Sandra, Claudia, Johana, Antonella, German, Paula, Facundo, Rober, Gustavo and Fernando.

He also leaves behind many relatives and friends who will remember him for his generosity, joy, and the warmth he brought to every gathering.

Fernando's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
