Fernando F. Riojas

Fernando F. Riojas was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 5, 1941, and went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2023, at the age of 81.
Fernando was a generous man who cared for his family, friends, and neighbors. Always willing to lend a hand or to call to make sure everyone was safe, he looked out for his loved ones. His legacy will be his witty comebacks, story-telling, and jokes. He loved to share his experiences and to reminisce about his life.
His final wish was to spend his last days in his home with his wife by his side. He loved her dearly. The family they created was his most important and greatest accomplishment.
Fernando will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents Roberto S. Riojas and Pomposa F. Riojas. Survivors include his loving wife Angelina T. Riojas, children- Annette (Cervantes), Sandra (Gamboa), Irene (Longoria), Oscar Riojas, Barbra (Torres), Consuelo (Riojas Salazar), sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family members and friends.
Visitation will begin on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church with a procession from Mission Park Funeral Chapels North at 9:15 a.m.
