Fernando Toro Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by San Jose Funeral Home - Eastside on Jun. 25, 2024.
Fernando Del Toro III was born in El Paso, Tx. He was 45 years old when he passed away on Tuesday June 18, 2024. Preceded in death his Father Fernando Del Toro Jr., Grandmother Yolanda Saenz, Aunt Martha Herrera, Uncles Ernest Saenz III, and Alejandro Fernandez Jr. He is survived by his Wife Georgina Del Toro, His son Zayden Del Toro, Daughter's Joselyn and Milena Del Toro, His Mother Yolanda Del Toro, Sister Letty Valtierra, Brother's Henry and Adrian Del Toro, and Grandmother Frances Del Toro, and by the rest of all his family and friends.
Fernando went to Coldwell Elementary school where he played football with the Blazers. He went to Austin High School where he also played football, then moved to Coronado High School his Senior year where he graduated class of '98. He later lived his first A.C.T.S retreat in 2010 from St. Mark Catholic Church where he was involved with the youth group, served in other retreats, and as an altar server. That was the beginning of his walk in faith where he served passionately.
He became a Barber in 2014 and worked at Versatile Fades Barbershop. He was currently working for The District Pub & Kitchen. He enjoyed having bonfires with his wife and children, popping fireworks, and seeing his children dance Folklorico and sing at the church choir where he was an active member of San Juan Diego Catholic Church. We will remember him as always laughing, joking, having a smile on his face, making others laugh, helping others in need, and always talking about his love for God and his family. He will be greatly missed.

My first memory of Fernie is his laugh and smile. He always lit up a room when he would show up. You always knew that Fernie was in the house. One of my favorite memories was when he was listening to some meditation music like Native American and there was an eagle in the background he would always make that noise and we would laugh Ernie, Fernie and I. Of course when he was coaching third base on our softball team with Adrian, Letty, Cindy and Albert and he waved me home only to call me back to third so I came back slid and sprained my ankle we ere both laughing. The last time I made Fernie smile was when I saw him at the district and we would go back and forth with "Three Amigo" quotes. I will always remember Fernie´s journey to the Catholic faith I remember how happy his dad was when Fernie started seeking the Lord we would talk at length at how much Big Fernie worried about lil Fernie and we would pray together and next thing you lil Fernie was all into the faith. Fernie always made me feel that my problems were not too big that I couldn´t enjoy life and to not take myself or life too seriously. I wish I could´ve made the services but Fernie has been and will continue to always in my prayers and I know that he is in good company and that we will always have an Angel smiling down on us.
Rest in Peace my brother.
Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon him.

Brother. I did not know what to say, think or do. I miss you so so very much. Every time I think of you or go to your house the pain is unbearable. I miss you annoying the heck out me. I miss your loudness, your crazy laugh, your absolutely dumb comments, and your compassion, love, and bright light. I´m praying for you all the time. I love you so much and I know we will see each other again. Love you Little Brother
