Ferriel Germon Burns Jr., affectionately known as “G,” was born in Fort Worth on September 18, 1997. Throughout his life, he embodied a spirit of warmth and kindness that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His vibrant personality shone brightly, marked by a loving nature and an infectious smile that could light up any room.
"G’s" journey through life was characterized by a deep dedication to service. He honorably served in the Air Force for three years at Moody Air Force Base in GA, an experience that bestowed upon him the National Defense Service Medal and the AF Outstanding Unit Award. These accolades reflect not only his commitment to his country but also the profound sense of duty that defined his character.
In addition to his military service, "G" was profoundly musical. He found solace and joy in singing, acting, and playing the keyboard and piano. His musical inclinations were not just hobbies; they were the very threads that wove together the fabric of his identity. Each note he played and each song he sang resonated with the love he had for his craft and the joy he wished to share with others.
Tragically, we bid farewell to "G" on January 17, 2026, far too soon. The world feels a little dimmer without his bright spirit, yet the echoes of his laughter and the melodies he created will forever linger in the hearts of those who knew him. "G’s" legacy is one of loving kindness—a reminder to cherish the moments we share and the smiles we spread.
"G" is survived by an indelible memory etched into the hearts of family and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and spirit. The love he shared will live on, a testament to a young man whose brightness will never be forgotten.
