Fianna Christman Obituary
Mrs. Fianna S. Christman, 77, of Lehighton, formerly of Slatington, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025. She married Ray G. Christman on Nov. 9, 1968. They just celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.
Born in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Francis P. and Alma M. (Roth) Semmel.
Fianna worked for Kern's Furniture, Holiday Fashions Textiles, Orkin Steel and then for ODL before retiring.
She was a life member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Slatington, where she played hand chimes, was a member of the Altar Guild, and served as president of the Second Chance Shoppe.
Her hobbies included sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, helping family/friends and watching her grand dog, Maisey.
Fianna will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ray; son, Ryan Christman and his wife, Jennifer, of Lehighton; daughter, Megan Christman of Schnecksville; and sisters, Janice Lentz of Schnecksville, and Lydia, wife of Ray Weaver of Emmaus.
Service: Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, Harding Funeral Home, 25-27 N. Second St., Slatington. Interment will follow services at Slatedale Cemetery. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 40 Second St., Slatington, PA 18080.

My condolences to the family. I only knew Fianna for a short time from taking care of her husband Ray. She will surely be missed by anyone who knew her.
